KIRILL SEREBRENNIKOV


Stage, film & TV director, Born September 7, 1969 in Rostov-on-Don. Graduated from the physics and mathematics faculty of the Rostov University. His director’s career began on the Rostov television and at Rostov’s theatres, where he staged his first productions. Since 1997 lives and works in Moscow. His theatrical activity is mainly connected with the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. One of the founders of the theatre festival “Territory”. Since 2008 supervises a workshop at the Moscow Arts Theatre School. Winner of the Stanislavsky International Theatre Award, the TEFI award and other professional prizes, including Main Prize of the Open Russian Film Festival “Kinotavr” and Grand-Prix of IFF in Rome -2006, for “Playing the Victim”.
